Kansas family sues mapping company for a long time of ‘digital hell’
In 2013, the Butler county sheriff’s department ran experience check up on the household because of all the suspicious activity that appeared to become happening. Police told the Arnolds that there would be a LDNS (local website name server) on their own property which the sheriff’s department received “weekly reports about fraud, scams, stolen Facebook accounts, missing person reports, suicide threats in the Veterans Association”.
There wasn’t any such server around the property, repeat the Arnolds it had been all lower to MaxMind’s mapping error.
