KONA IP firmware license for JPEG 2000
The brand new KONA IP firmware license enables compression and decompression of HD video instantly to/from JPEG 2000 encoded inside an MPEG 2 transport stream. Featuring support for TR-01, the update ensures interoperability along with other JPEG 2000 systems and devices over the network. It supports three configurations: as much as two synchronised JPEG 2000 outputs, as much as two synchronised JPEG 2000 inputs, or perhaps a synchronised JPEG 2000 input and output to some system running KONA IP. Just one KONA IP configuration using the latest Desktop Software v13 installed offers as they are functionality for a variety of creative apps including Adobe Premiere Pro, Apple FCP X, Enthusiastic Media Composer and AJA Control Room dual KONA IP configurations will also be supported for additional demanding JPEG 2000 workflows for SDK developers.
KONA IP Firmware for SMPTE 2110
Not far off, and being shown at NAB 2017, may be the new KONA IP firmware for SMPTE 2110. With support for SMPTE 2110 as much as HD rasters, KONA IP will introduce new versatility for live production professionals by enabling networking with separate essence flows. Broadcasters can synchronize manufacture of audio, video, and ancillary data elements, eliminating the requirement for embedding/disembedding to/from SDI whilst reducing latency. People to AJA’s NAB booth can preview current and forthcoming release features.
IPT-1G-HDMI and IPT-1G-SDI Small-Converters for IP Workflows
Made to compliment AJA’s type of IP receiver converters, the brand new IPT products convert HD video to VSF TR-01 (along with other JPEG 2000 formats). IPT-1G-SDI provides two 3G-SDI inputs, and IPT-1G-HDMI includes a standard HDMI type A input. The opportunity to convert baseband video to JPEG 2000 MPEG 2 transport streams enables a resource to become transmitted anywhere on the network, and enables IP compatibility with baseband cameras, digital VTRs, routers and switchers. The IPT-1G-SDI and also the IPT-1G-HDMI may be used along with KONA IP, as well as the IPR-1G-SDI and IPR-G-HDMI Small-Converters, to streamline video consume, exchange and distribution across an IP network including final reception to displays.

KONA IP firmware for SMPTE 2110 is predicted to be shown soon like a download free from AJA’s support page.
