“Taking a song ?”

The recording was created by Worthwhile To Learn and directed by Bartolomeo Meletti (CREATe, College of Glasgow and BFI) and Prof. Ruth Towse (CIPPM, Bournemouth College and make). It comes down supported by seven ‘Tracks’: extra texts drafted by Dr. Kenny Barr (College of Glasgow) that offer assistance with how United kingdom copyright law regulates different factors from the journey of the song, from the creation to the distribution. Topics addressed through the texts include what is really a song, how you can safeguard an audio lesson with copyright, seem recording legal rights, publishing and record deals, amongst others. The information from the resource was created from your interactive workshop for music authors and composers, conducted through the Copyright User team on 19th March 2015. The workshop was area of the series Understanding United kingdom Copyright Law, transported out together with digital Catapult and also the Copyright Hub.
